What chemicals are used?

PYRETHRIN
Pyrethrin is a natural based insecticide extracted from the chrysanthemum flower. It is Biodegradable and EPA
registered.
Pyrethrins are commonly found in pet flea and tick shampoos/sprays and in several household insecticide
products.
Pyrethrin is so safe that the US Government approves its use on such insect prone foods such as tomatoes,
even while they are on the way to the market or processing plant.

PERMETHRIN
Permethrin is a low odor synthetic pyrethroid (similar to Pyrethrin) product we find to be very effective for
mosquitoes and flying insect control, particularly when a customer may be allergic to botanical pyrethrin. Our
Permethrin contains a PBO (Piperonyl Butoxide Technical) additive agent which serves as a synergist
that increases the effectiveness of the Permethrin and prohibits the insects from developing a tolerance to the
insecticide.
